Glock armorer here as well. So simple, reliable and easy to armor. I too use them on duty as well. But, all guns have their haters but hipoint deserves it the most.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Darn, right before winter. It's going to be a cold one.

I do not agree HiPoint may have haters but not deserves. I just had to try the 9mm at $119. I was so impressed I went back and got the 45 for $139. And after 6 months and only 1 FTF I like them. Yes not as pretty as others I have, but really they may be bigger but not much uglier than any other plastic gun. They are pretty accurate too. They handle p+ ammo that would blow other gun apart. And 3 weeks ago I bought the HiPoint 9mm carbine, but I have not been able to find the time to shoot it yet. I don't think I will be disappointed.

The U.S. Coast Guard has given approval to the High Point Pistol. It is now legal to use them as anchors in fresh or salt water.

I'll just say, when the SHTF the Hi Point will be the firearm in my hands.

With only only 1 FTF ever why not. However that's not the point, I have very fine 22 pistols but I wouldn't use those for SD either if I could get to something else. Just because it may not be your first choice for SD or CCW does not make it a bad pistol deserving of haters. That's one reason most of us have several lying around.
