I've seen and heard of awful pistols, and IMHO, Hi-Points may
be inexpensive, but they don't even come close to the worst.
Don't be pissed, kmglocks, because you bought a cheap
gun which isn't up to your standards. Sell it and move on.
Two major differences between "the worst pistol ever" and
1.- The company, which is AMERICAN based, in OHIO, and
stands firmly behind all of their products, regardless of owner or
age, is still in business. (And, BTW, cleaning up in the
carbine business, at the moment)
2.-They sell a product which usually functions well, despite
being oversize, plastic, and poorly regarded.
I've seen some real crap, by companies which have NO
customer service, NO warranty to speak of , and are either out of
business, or their guns fall apart before the end of the first box of ammo,
It's not a challenge finding a crappy gun, in any event.
They've always been around. The real challenge is finding
a gun which is worth the money to you. That's personal.
