Those that love Glock like other guns, they just love Glock lol.

You misunderstand the origins of the massive popularity of the 1911 design, then.

I was only suggesting that the aesthetics of the Sig 1911 are one of the issues that make them less popular than many other classic 1911 models.

SIG has a nice following on this site. Gunrunner, gfrantz, others here have crazy love for SIG.

Today shooters are more into striker fired guns than sao 1911 dak type stuff.

Stay away from the p250 and SIG makes some of the best guns money can buy
What's wrong with the P250? I bought my P250c 40sw nib for $400 at the range and it's well made and shot well.

I love 4 Glocks and i'm their huge fan. I started to like Sig and just recently got the 2022. In the future i will maybe getting the 229. If i have to choose one brand, of course i choose Glock. It's just a personal reasons i love them. At the end of the day any guns are still guns and they are our little best friends.
And FYI, some people would be sensitive to your last sentence. No offense tho. Peace!

Because everyone isn't made of money would be my guess. Sigs at great as far as I know but they are really proud of their products.

you got the P238 didn't you?
Yes, I have a P238. She shoots like a dream. Great gun. Fits my hand perfectly.

Carried a p220 for a number of years lots of rounds through it. Still have it fantastic gun. The 1911 is a little faster and more accurate for me rapid fire ended up switching to a 1911 for a while.

Wife recently got a xdm and i shot it and fell in love. Bought a xdm in 45acp and quickly discovered i like it better as its even faster and more accurate on follow ups that the p220 or 1911. Until i find aomething better its xdm.

Sigs not a bad gun but the xdm for me is functionally better.

The only thing I can think Glocks have over a proper SIG is weight, simplicity and price point. As someone who exercises daily, loves to take apart and reassemble his guns, and saved his money for a long time for his, I don't get any of the reasoning. Maybe I'm just strange.

I'm a sig owner and out of all my firearms the Sig p229 I own is by far the most superior when it comes to quality, fit finish, accuracy, and all round bad ass!

They are expensive but well worth the cost.

You don't buy a Sig you invest in one.
