I knew it was something my bad

I like Glocks; they're simple, they're light, they hit where they look, and they don't break. If they'd make a pocket .380, I'd buy in a NY minute.

Glocks don't break? After I read that I googled glock failures. Apparently you aren't paying attention.

Yeah everything breaks, but I think that they were trying to say glocks are harder to kill than other handguns.

Apparently much easier to shoot yourself with them though.

Plaxico Buress

DEA Agent

The list goes on.

Exactly. I know that the revered Elmer Keith, God rest him, pronounced plastics as only good for kids' toys, but if Glocks were no good they wouldn't have overcome the initial resistance to them to become the most popular sidearms for law enforcement in the US. I don't particularly care about Hall of Fame status, tradition, history or what the guy did for a living before; if a tool works, it works. What's more important? If Keith were around today, I think even he would admit that Glocks have earned their respect. And he'd probably have a 10mm Glock in his gun case next to his Model 29s and Super Blackhawks.

Glock .380 doesn't meet import requirements because os size & caliber. Exception was made to allow import for LE agencies for issue for backup weapons. None are personally owned by officers.

Plaxico is an idiot. He carried in NYC, which is obviously illegal. He also just stuffed it in his sweatpants, a big no no. That dea agent was even stupider. There isn't even such thing as a "Glock .40" and he didn't even clear the firearm. If that gun is in a proper holster and TFM is being used, there is no problem.

Why is it that when a simple question is asked either for GLOCK or 1911 there is always dislikes? Who cares if there are idiots out there that can not handle a GLOCK and shoots themself! It seems everytime there is an idiot that jumps off topic to try and say one is better then the other!!!

Let's not call anybody "Idiots" here. Nobody likes when Internet forums get nasty. Plus I started the thread and I like having the debates.
