Seems like you just just described a M&P. let me know if you get one in hand and a compare it to the M&P. It took awhile and to the shame of my brothers here I put my Kimber away and chose my carry gun of choice to be the M&P 45.

At the min I'm keeping the thread alive with out the shameful bumps

I've got an M&P-15 lower receiver on my AR build. Very nicely finished and completely to milspec (except semiauto). Guess that doesn't count huh?

Haven't fired a recent S&W so can't say much but have two of their revolvers and have always liked the company.
