Default What's on your shortlist?

Taking a little bit of liberty with the term, what, if any, are the next handguns on your hitlist?

For me, and in no specific or particular order, they are:

- Ruger SR9C
- Rock Island or Metro Arms 1911 matte nickel
- Sig Sauer P238 HD
- Hi-Point JHP .45
- Marlin 336C

I'm sure some will drop and others might take their place as time passes while I wait for the funds, but I have a feeling that these will be mine by 2013.

On my shortest list would be a 9mm 1911. Don't know if I will have the patience or $ to track one down before something on the not quite as short list pops up.

Those would include: 9mm Semi Auto from either S&W, Stoeger or SA or a
.357/38 4"-6" revolver.

I looked seriously at getting the GSG 1911 22lr but just couldn't bring myself to go the 22 cal route. I've gone back and forth on the idea a hundred times, but always wind back up at willing to pay extra for more rounds for the calibers I already have instead. But this is an excellent choice for the short list. They all are!

Pretty sure RIA and Metro both do the 1911 in 9mm. As do plenty others. I too am anxiously awaiting the freed up funds for a 1911, but in .45acp
