Thanks! I would have enjoyed giving him the "full tour" of what I've assembled but we only had a little more than an hour to burn before we had to get back to the wives and "reality".

I love the J Frames and would recommend one for everybody!

Mine is a 637 Performance Center model. The wood grips were great looking and fit my hand well since the extended length allowed my pinky something to hold onto as well.

Even though I was happy with the stock grips, I came across a crimson trace LG-305 a few weeks later at a gun show that allowed for a similar fit. Also, the deal was too good to pass up ($240 out the door).

The first trip to the range using the new laser grip absolutely astounded me! Out of the box and with no adjustment, the laser was within 1/4" of aim point (at 10 yards).

Considering the barrel on this gun is less than 2", and I was using a straightforward standing two-bhanded grip (no rests of any kind used to stabilize the gun) I wahf

J-Frames are great if you can deal with the stock grip, or add a better one aftermarket, and are ok with only. 5 shots. This hold 7+1 or 9+1... And mag reloads are faster unless your initials are JM.....imageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1393834040.139367.jpg

Bond Arms Defender 2.5" in .45LC/.410. Also a Taurus PT-738 TCP in .380 with laser. These are both BUGs and EDC guns. Thinking of going bigger with S&W Shield in 9mm.
