PS... I only own the 1 226 so by the laws of Fanboyism... I can not be considered a Fan Boy as that requires a minimum of:
2 guns
1 Tee ****
1 Key Chain
4 Hats....

Ditto on the Cougar .40.....about $450 retail, maybe ,$400 online. Better yet, a SR40 can be had for $400 on line. Save up another $100 and get one of these two pistols...you'll be better off. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/1050/products_id/69980

CZ's are good guns as well.

I have a Sigma 40 C ($330 direct from the factory w/night sights and 3 full capacity mags), an S&W 99 full size and an S&W compact (5 mags each for $600) for the lefty wife.

I guess my LW .40 barrel for my G-20C counts as a .40 and quite a bargain at $125.
