Default What's A Decent Budget Priced Suppressor For A 45ACP?

Looking at maybe getting the S&W M&P 45 Threaded Barrel Kit. Seems like a good deal for $600. I want to find a suppressor for it... the cheaper the better as long as it works. Right now the cheapest I've seen is Thompson Machine QMF. Is there one cheaper?

I also am curious what I will have to pay as far as taxes and fees when I purchase the pistol and suppressor. Seems like I had heard there is like a $200 tax just on the suppressor!?!

Thanks in advance for your help

ive been researching silencers myself im new to em and some things cropped up about ownership. the batfe regulates the parts and depending on how the silencer is made you are not allowed to replace certain internal parts and depending on the design also not allowed to dissassemble it yourself for cleaning.

the one that has cropped up that seems to be good to go for do it yourself cleaning are the silncerco ones. with NFA items it DOES not pay to go be budget concsious. get the good stuff from the get go or your gonna be in super sorry shape. with NFA stuff if you gotta ask the price you shouldnt be meddling with em. least that is my thoughts on it so far.

i could be 100% wrong on this stuff. i would STRONGLY recomend consulting a lawyer specializing in NFA lawyering. if and when i decide to purchase a silencer i will be hitting up my NFA expert lawyer before i make a final decision.
