On the other hand, my Dad's P22 as well as my own which I sold to a brother a while back both always have worked fine with everything we've tried in them so; the Walthers certainly aren't all bad.

I haven't had a chance to try my SR22 yet, but I'm pretty excited to "give it a whirl."
I just got back from the range. Wasn't impressed with the SR22 out of the box, but now I have 250+ rounds through it, I really like it. It took about 100 or more rounds to adjust the sights (never had a Ruger that came with dead- on sights). And after a malfunctioning magazine issue (Ruger replaced no questions asked), this little plinker is good to go 20 yards in. I might even buy some stingers & carry it once in awhile. I know, this is a180 from my previous thread, but this little plinker is the real deal.

Yeah I know it loves stingers but the fact that I can buy the same amount of 9 mm for only a dollar more ruins how nice it is to shoot 22. For the price

I know it's a saturday night special . But I really like the Phoenix HP22A it's 10+1 feeds almost anything unlike alot of pocket pistols like the Taurus PT22 or the Berretta 21A which are both finicky in what they run and best part is for just the gun without the deluxe range kit that comes with an extra 5 inch barrel and cleaning kit. The gun alone will run you around 115.00 to 125.00 at a gun show maybe even 100.00

Ihad one long time ago and it was more reliable that any other .22lr pocket pistol I ever owned.

I have a .22 Ruger Mark 1 Target , and Mark 3 Target Hunter. Never have a jam. Shoots any LR Ammo. I clean after every 500 rounds for fun but could go much longer between cleans. A bit of a challenge to take apart without experience. Would have someone with Ruger experience break it down with you once. Also very inexpensive. Can find used $199-600.
