I Like my G17 and G19, the mag cap is nice for home defence and light carry as well, I like using the 33rd mags, makes a heavy package but a great home defence system, I also like the Interchangability of the magazines and the like also. Im also a big fan of the Ruger SR9... Great piece of American firepower...

I love my pair of XD45's and am now looking at purchasing a XD9, just not sure which one I want to get. I purchased my wife a Glock 19 for Christmas and she loved it. Now I am looking at which model of XD9 I am going to get.

What I keep hearing WRT the XD's is that they have a trigger like a Glock, a slide like a Sig, a backstrap safety and fit like a 1911...... and they do. They also have exceptional balance, the simplest break-down on the market and you can shoot darts with them.
From all reports, Springfield provides great service on their lifetime warranties, and when I bought my XD 9 it was cheaper than Glock's G-17. Come to the dark side. We have Tupperware............

I know that I do love my Sig's also, I am looking at getting a Sig P226 in 9mm from J&G for about $450 depending on what condition I want. They are Police trade in so they are in good condition, if not you can send them back to Sig and have them reconditioned. I carried a Sig P229 for over 12yrs until I purchased my XD's.

Beretta M92FS

Accurate, Reliable (if you keep it clean), Good Weight, Large Magazine Cap, Simple field strip, Simple decocker, Simple Mag release

the grip is a bit fat, but I like that alot, I think it allows me to grip the gun firmer, making my shots more accurate
