Very accurate

Very fun

Very little recoil

Very few problems

Aside from my 22LRs, it's my favorite range pistol.

It uses all ammo well, even the Tula steel.

No FTFs, or FTEs.

It's simply a great shooter.

First real gun ever was a Glock 19. Many more since then, but one of my favorites.

My first wheel gun was a Ruger Bearcat 22lr/22mag single action. I saved up cans @ 3 cents each to buy it. 1965 the gun cost me $38.00 new in box. A year later i bought a Colt 1911a1 used for $20.00. Still have them both, as of today.
Those where the good old days. Mail order guns through NRA shipped to your door.

SA XD 9 - sold it over a year ago, wish I hadn't. saved the mags just in case I got the urge to buy another. I really liked it.

When I was 15 years old in 1955 I saved up $90 dollars from mowing lawns and bought an H&R Model 999 .22 break top 9-shot revolver. I shot it a lot. Probably why my hearing is so bad today. Didn't know about "ear protection" back then. Wish I still had it.

Thus the common remark of many old Texans like us: "Aw, them earmuffs are for sissies! ...Say what? Huh? What'd you say? Didn't catch that..."
