First Pistol
My first pistol was a Dan Wesson 44 mag vent heavy pistol pack with the 6 and 8 inch barrels, I was 14(1982) and its still shooting like a dream.

I had hired him for 1 on 1 lessons before I shot alone. He put the other magazine in to make sure it wasn't something as simple as the magazine and the second one fell out. He put both my magazines in a rental Baby Glock he had and they both worked fine. He, as the dealer called and wrote to Glock on my behalf saying I never even put my hands on the gun and they still insisted it wasn't broken. After hiring a Lawyer I got my money back. It cost me close to $1,000 to get my $580 back but it was a matter of principle.
After this poor experience with Glock I got a Subcompact XD 9mm and it worked perfect. I still own it now and it's the gun both my daughters learned to shoot.

I had a bad experience with Glock CS on a dealership level.
To be frank, IME, their Customer Service is poor, to say the
least.

My first pistol was a Hawes Western Marshal single action revolver in .357 Mag, quickly followed by a Ruger Black Hawk in the same caliber.

One of my customers at the bar I work at told me his Grandfather had passed away recently. As they were cleaning his house out, they found a Hawes Western Marshal in 357. He said no one in his family liked guns. He asked if I wanted it. I told him I couldn't afford it, but I wish I could. He then proceeded to tell me, "Happy Late Birthday Troy." I don't think I will ever get rid of this one.
