My first pistol was a 9mm Baby Glock that came broken brand new out of the box. The magazine fell out after every shot. Glock customer service tried to tell me they thought it was me inserting it wrong being a new shooter. I told them the dealer, who was a 32 year Marine, taught handgun combat in The Marines, has been a certified NRA Pistol Instructor for over 15 years and held a FFL for 20 years opened the box himself, loaded and shot the first magazine and it was him who determined it was broken. I had hired him for 1 on 1 lessons before I shot alone. He put the other magazine in to make sure it wasn't something as simple as the magazine and the second one fell out. He put both my magazines in a rental Baby Glock he had and they both worked fine. He, as the dealer called and wrote to Glock on my behalf saying I never even put my hands on the gun and they still insisted it wasn't broken. After hiring a Lawyer I got my money back. It cost me close to $1,000 to get my $580 back but it was a matter of principle.

After this poor experience with Glock I got a Subcompact XD 9mm and it worked perfect. I still own it now and it's the gun both my daughters learned to shoot.

Anyone know why the steel casing rounds r causing extracter failures in a lot of guns. I have a box havnt used them yet. Wondering if I should just get rid of them. I have been told it shouldn't cause an issue in my xd 40 but was wanting feed back from all of u on Ur thoughts.

First pistol was a jennings 22. Jammed all the time and fell apart a few times. It now lives it's life in my safe behind the other pistols.

My first handgun was a Springfield mil spec 1911 .45 stainless steel had the wooden grips felt like it should be on a mantle to look at so I got a set of v z grips to put on it and loved it since still have it

As I've been told steel casings expand but don't contract as easily as brass so you may have those type of issues but it's not gonna mess your gun up just try em out

My first gun was a Fnp-9 usg, put about 1100 rounds through it, now it is having some issues and it makes me feel like my baby is sick and daddy has to take it in for service

Mine was a Rossi 38 Special. Still have it and carry on occasion.

BTW....I am so NOT believing that Glock story.
