Default What is Overall Opinion of Walther 380 (new)

Just wondering what you all think of a Walther PK380? Is it worth adding to the collection. (I've got a good stock pile of .380ACP)

i dont care for how they feel or the location of the various controls. i REALLY like the bersa thunder plus 15 rounds of 380 in a walther ppks style gun.

Indeed, I am more inclined to go with the Bersa Thunder Plus as well, or the 6 round Sig P238.

I got my wife a PK380 to replace her PPK. She likes it a lot and shoots it well. I wasn't surprised as she loves her P22. I did get it very cheap, paid $200, so it was a great deal as well...

I'm getting a "used" one that was not shot by the owner (who bought it new). While not as good of deal as NGIB's, it is still less than $265.00

I expect that is a good price but I don't know. When it comes to .380 I look for something smooth, the PK380 looks like it has a lot of sharp angles (snag points). The only .380 I have is a Sig P230, I bought it so I could carry while in shorts and a tee shirt. All the same I paid a fair bit more than you can get this one for and expect it is a bit lighter.

At $265 you will never regret buying it. New models in my store sell for $525 + tax (another 10.3%)

I like the Bersa, It is not a tack driver but within range, It will fire every time you pull the trigger.

I have a ppk/s .32 that is one of my favorite guns to shoot. But the only reason i chose walther over the bersa is because i wanted a .32 ppk type gun. (I have way to many .380s) and finding a firestorm .32 is a real bitch...

edit: thought you were talking about ppks my bad... I NEED TO PAY MORE ATTENTION!

My "other" .380 is an old blue PPK (short grip model) that still gets carried from time to time. It is accurate, reliable, and an old friend. The Sig 239 is carried more but the old Walther still does the duty on occasion...
