I trust all of my handguns except one right now. If I need to defend the home my P22 would be the only one not joining the party. It's only a little .22 and still has the occasional FTF problem. But my 2 Colt 1911s, 2 Walther 9mms and even my 380 PPK are all reliable, and I wouldn't hesitate to use any for defense. If forced to choose one, I'd grab my Wiley Clapp Colt Commander, but the Walther PPQ M2 is gaining on it. Damn it's accurate for a tupperware gun. I'm really starting to become attached to her.
