Glock 22, 23 and 27, all 40S&W. Also my old Colt 45 ACP. I kinda like a larger caliber, 380 is a little small and slow for me. Now a 357 is fine (a S&W Model 66 is what my wife likes).

if i own it, then i trust it. that simple. the brand or caliber are irrelevent to me.

if i can't trust a firearm that might be used for SD, regardless of what it might be, then it needs to be gone.

My sig p226 in 9mm is the only gun I implicitly trust to do what I want without fail every time. Quite simply it is mil spec in every way. Have put over 20k rounds through with no issues. It works reliably clean, dirty, wet, and even absolutely filthy. The decocker makes for very safe loaded carry. The action is simple and easy to takedown and clean. My comfort level with this gun is also a factor...my best groupings, even running tactical drills.

I have a few at the ready. My #1 is my series 70 Colt Government. We've been pals for forty years.
