I know this is probably laughable but I purchased an HK 9mm from a friend a few months back and can't remember the exact model. I'm looking for simple accessories and not sure what's interchangeable with what or even where to look for them. The pistol was purchased from www.hkspecialist.com if that helps.

Anything I should know or buy in regards to this?

I'm looking for things to put on the rail underneath the slide. I read Surefire has an attachment for their lights which I'd love to have and/or a laser. My buddy bought this gun for me on hkspecialist.net and I gave him a broken Ruger P90 .45 and some cash for it. He had one almost identical with a few attachments that I'd like to have but most places I've looked don't tell me exactly what they fit and I did read that the rail on these is proprietary to HK so don't wanna buy the wrong stuff.

I'm new to firearm forums so I'm assuming HD is home defense and CC is concealed carry and if so, the answer is both of those. I have shot 1 round through it off my back porch the day I got it to make sure it worked. The P90 I had was broken but didn't realize it until I went to the range! Not good if Zombies attacked! Plan on shooting it more, life keeps getting in the way though.

It came as you see. It was a decommissioned law enforcement pistol and had the jet funnel, 18 rd mag, night sights, and 2 stage law enforcement trigger (not sure of the actual name??) all included. Ended up costing just $439 + shipping from that site. Ordered 2 more 18 rd mags today for $88 shipped total!

Ok. This is the story, I'll condense it as much as I can since I am not a criminal.

My friend took professional pics of my sons 1st Bday for free (he does it for a living) back in Oct 2010. Couple months later, he said he was looking for a Mini 14 for sentimental reasons. I had one inherited from my father so gave it to him.

Couple months after that I told him I was looking for a better pistol to carry and protect my family with. The P90 was my father's and I only had it since it was one of the only things I had of his left after he was killed. He found the deal on this HK and said he was semi interested in the P90. We went out shooting and found it was broken. He said he'd take the P90, order the HK, and I could make payments for the balance we agreed on since I didn't have enough cash at that time.

To further my defense, I am a decorated 2x time Iraq war veteran, was responsible for $5 million in sensitive/classified encrypted security systems while a Non Commissioned Officer, held the 2nd highest security clearance possible from the Department of Defense for over 6 1/2 years before receiving an honorable discharge in Oct 2008, and my worst crime is a 12mph over speeding ticket 6 years ago.

I also have a concealed carry permit and multiple guns in my name as well.
