Lint... Very little to none, and i'm the warned against holsterless carrier. I also carry SAO in condition 2, warned against.
Sorry, if I understand that correctly, you pocket carry with no holster, in condition 2. (Hammer down on an empty chamber) Both of which people have warned you not to do. That correct? LOL, if I tried that, I'd pull it and It's just look like I was holding a ball of fur, or popcorn, or something like that. I'd have to strip it and clean it twice a day.

Yup. Try using a tablesaw or router for a few minutes. Or grinding aluminum & stainless for 1/2 a day. Or hauling wood in the the wood stove. You'll see......

A Ruger tech told me pocket lint is exceedingly effective at jamming actions and only a pocket holster will keep it out.

LCP has space which is open by chamber so you can see the gun is loaded w/o press check. I believe this just gives lint an open shot into action.

I own a S&W M&P Shield

It fits nicely in my front pocket.

It's 9mm and accurate as heck

Though the Beretta Nano is considered a pocket pistol by the manufacturer and the industry, I can't seem to get it in my pants pocket without it printing or sticking out of my back pocket. But if I were cargo pants or shorts, I have no problem. Also in a jacket pocket it works fine as well. So, to that I carry it in an IWB hybrid holster from Old Faithful Holsters.

Apart from that, it's reliable and very easy to aim and shoot.

I have a Kahr pm9 that I carry in a pocket holster. It's accurate and it doesn't print.

A .45 is def not a good pocket pistol. When you shorten the barrel of a high power load it takes away a lot of the power. The best 3-4 inch pistols are 9mm and .380. My suggestion and personal favorite is the walther p99 QA 9mm. Not quite a pocket pistol, but it is small and a very reliable gun
