Hi Point 9mm or .45 or even .380 is a good car gun because if it is stolen you are not out a lot of money. Ruger P95 is another good one. Also the SCCY is a good car gun.
Any gun you can afford to lose if it is stolen.

that would be very poor advice. a stolen gun usually ends up in the hands of those who shouldn't be possessing guns in the first place. by saying that just because it's inexpensive, would justify it being stolen is in some ways advocating the actions of those who steal guns in the first place.

removing or securing it in some way to prevent theft in the first place should be a priority.

Yes true i wouldnt want some criminal running around with my stolen gun thats why i have my vault bolted through the floor

I'm not sure what your issue is with the P95, I've had one since 1996 and haven't had any issues with it, although I will admit it is heavy.
