Yeah, good luck with that.

Hey, here's a crazy idea, find a CZ83 or CZ75.

Or buy something new at Bud's Guns.

You really need to add about 350 to 450$ to your

first pistol purchase budget,(and take a GOOD

friend with you, to buy your first) or you are going to saddle

yourself with some worthless piece of crap which

will make you wish you waited, and didn't waste

your money.

BTW, cheap pistols crack, snap, and even explode, on

an alarmingly regular

basis. Not too many name brand guns do this.

What Scott said: and if you just have to have a Centerfire Gun as a first, think 380 or 9mm, or 38. You can get many Quality Guns either new or used at or below the $500 price point. My first was a Colt Woodsman, also sorry I got rid of it....

Two things friends don't let friends do: drive drunk, buy bad guns

That's a good plan. Just make sure you stick to reputable manufacturers: Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Colt, Browning, etc.

.25 Cal round will deter someone just because they don't want to get shot. If you do shoot them with it, you are just going to piss them off! Yes it may be a fatal wound in some cases but, they will not bleed out before they beat you to death with it! My first was a 9mm I would recommend that.

WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!

14? I hate to tell you this, but it is illegal for you to buy a gun at 14. Do you have a parent who is buying this?
