Up until last year, I owned the piece that was my moniker, A Webley Fosbery 8 shooter Revolver, .38 Auto. It really wasnt an auto shooter, just an auto cycler. 1 pull, one shot and the next one ready and waiting for the next pull but the recoil did all the work not your finger. What a fun gun to shoot, not the stopping power you might expect but the accuracy was world class,
She was my dads for 20 years then mine for 30 more and a real beauty but more of a museum piece, not one JQ Public keeps for CCW or HD, once I realized what it was worth and the economy went south, it had to go. Turns out, it was one of two left known in the world to survive out of a very small run of manufacturing. It went to Auction and did very well for a piece my dad bought for $25 in Austria in the 50's. I miss her but Im sure she went to a good home where others will be able to appreciate her and it did pay down some bills that werent helping us at that moment.
