I love my Taurus 738, never given me any problems and unlike other 380'a I think it's fun to shoot. Super lite weight at 10 Izzy empty. Ez to tuck anywhere. Haven't had any feeding problem ammo yet either.

The "best" depends on what you're after...size, weight, capacity, shootability, finish, value, etc, etc.

I'd say look at the Ruger LCP, Sig P238, Bersa Thunder, and Kahr P380. I chose those 4 guns for varying reasons, but I think one of them will ultimately offer what you're after. The prices differ a bit from one to the next, but they're all quality guns at their respective price points in my opinion. Advantage to the Ruger or Kahr if a micro featherweight is what you're after. The Sig and the Bersa are a bit more weighty (and shootable).

I don't own any carry gun smaller than 9mm. Just personal preference. Something about paying 50% more per round for an anemic 9mm (380acp) just bugs me. Not sure whether that's cheapness or pragmatism. YMMV.

The Taurus 738 isntreally a show piece.. .but I do like the style and comfort of it and for the blued version I've seen it for 199 bucks at academy sports. I think the quality is excellent for the price.

Its between the sig and the bersa. Now just gotta figure out which one I like better. Thanks for the suggestions.

If you're going for pocket carry, the sig is probably your best bet. All other purposes I'd get the bersa

These little 380's,while easy to carry, are a real pain to shoot very much.I have the LCP,and LC9,and can't abide more than a few mags at any one time.Awhile back I happened on a Browning BDA( Baretta 84).It's a dream to shoot, hefty grip, houses 13 rds.Very accurate usable sights.Totally reliable, just not the concealing type.Great fun at the range!

Walter PPK is one of the most accurate and easy to hold even with bigger hands that I've shot.
