I bought one 2 weeks ago and it is the best pistol I have had.
Very crisp and dead on accurate even from the very first mags.
I would highly recommend this gun

I don't have the QA version (Glock like trigger) but I do own a AS version (decocker). They are fantastic pistols and I'm guessing you have been looking at CDNN and a $439 price point. I would say you couldn't go wrong with one even at a higher price. The good news is they are priced to sell now that the PPQ is out.

I personally hate Walther. Garbage garbage garbage. I think they might be made from the same plastic as tupperware.

Is the Walther P99QA considered a large, medium or compact gun? Im a big guy and I don't want anything small. I would prefer a medium to large frame gun and I'm trying to stay under $400...any suggestions?

The 99 compact is about the same size as a Glock 26.
If your not looking for a compact you open many other doors in choices.

Compared to the Taurus PT24/7pro ds or the Taurus PT24/7pro2. Which out of the two would you consider?I like the feel of the Taurus and the frame size

I can't recommend any Taurus except this one which is a little over your $ limit... Click:

For a high-capacity 9mm in that price range, here's an idea... This is what many Argentine military and police personnel are issued... Bersa Thunder 9 (...it's a lot lighter than the PT92):

Bersa Thunder 9mm Matte, 17 round $388.00 SHIPS FREE
