Not only is there no waiting period in Wyoming, if you have a CCW they don't even have to call it in. The only time I have to wait is filling out the paper work and digging around in my pockets for payment!

Nope, not even close! However, my wife love shooting nearly as much as me, so she doesn't mind when I spend money on guns.

When Danny Rolling was loose in Gainesville (Danny Rolling - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), the students found out about waiting periods too late.
But they still did not change the law.

I've bought all of my weapons in New Mexico. NEVER had a waiting period.
Then again, I have literally bought all of my weapons at the same place; Courtesy Pawn in Carlsbad, NM.
Maybe it's just a state thing. But when I've bought my weapons, the only "wait" was the 3 minute phone call in which they call the authorities to check my record and report the sale. Also, when I've rarely put one on layaway
