Little did I know that I had only scratched the surface until I got so many responses from ya'll. Thanks for all your input. And now this is what I found.

Very good research grasshopper!
However, I notice you did not list the various 9mm rifle cartridges, such as the 9.3x72R.
The variety of what is out there is truly surprising when you start looking. F'rinstance, consider the humble .22 in all it's variety.........

.35=9mm=.38=.380
the 9mm and 38 are actually .35 caliber so a 38 special is actually a 35 special the 357 magnum is one of the few truly named rounds. a 44magnum is really .41. that was done in the past to make the cartridge sound bigger. they measured a loaded round at the case mouth to get .38 and .44
there are other rounds like taht too. any .35 caliber is 9mm

Um.....NO!
Bullet diameters for the various 9mms and 38 calibers are not the same.
.355, .356, .358, .361.
44 rem mag is not a .41, it mikes a .429 diameter.
.35 rifle cals, 35 whelen, 35 remington, they use .358

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?
