I have the G26 and an XD sub compact 9. The G26 is an awesome shooter and I can't hit the broad side of a barn with the XD. I'm told its me...I don't think so. The XD stays in the safe. Would not carry it to save my life.

Get the XD fixed to work with your shooting style, change your shooting style, or get rid of it. Why own a gun that you can't shoot well? I mean you could always bluff and hope it's not called.....lol

I was the same way with my XD .45 I know it wasn't all me because others struggled with it, but not as much as I did. I was happy to get rid of it, and it would take a lot of convincing for me to buy another Springfield polymer gun. It really didn't fit my hand right, I think was the main problem, but I've also heard the earlier XD lineup wasn't that great and the new ones are supposed to be better.

Odd. I seem to shoot fairly well with my XD-9 subcompact. Maybe the sights are throwing you off??
