Today's Range Trip Results
Ok, here's my typical results during my range trip today.
First off, my Ruger P95 performed great. I am liking this Ruger more and more everytime I fire it.
Target was engaged at 15 yards. 30 rounds of 115 grain FMJ 9mm was fired.
Second, I practiced more with my Sigma .40 S&W. I am getting a little better, but as you can see, I am still working on properly engaging the trademark heavy trigger of the Sigma. The rounds near the center are where I was improving, and not anticipating the recoil so much...lol. Shooting full power 180 grain loads sometimes will induce a small flinch. I have made it my goal to produce groupings from my Sigma that will rival the Ruger's groups.
28 rounds of 180 grain FMJ .40 ammo was fired at 15 yards.

Those targets look like minute of goblin to me.

Yup, that produces a dead zombie any day. Nice shooting. I'm really tempted to pick up a sigma.

Nice shooting Sarge. Not that you need armchair internet critique of your shooting but I would wager a guess that your Sigma group is less flinch and more that your are using more trigger finger to compensate for the heavy pull and actually pushing the gun with the pad of your base knuckle when you pull the trigger. It looks like you have quite the companion with the Ruger.
x2 on the range pics!

It actually is a little anticipation on my part. I caught myself doing it a couple of times...lol.
Thanks for the tip, though. I'll look out for that, as well, the next time I'm out to the range (hopefully soon).

lol
This is my third range report, Dillinger.
My next report (with pics) will have to be with my XD9. With as many rounds as I've put through it, I'm actually surprised I haven't gotten around to bragging about the nice groupings I get with that yet...lol. Oh well, next time.

Awesome grouping!
Without a doubt, Sgt-Miller is DEADLY with that 9mm Ruger!!
Sgt, I do expect your next run with the Sigma will be much better. I've found that if I discharge 2 rounds when switching cals and pulls before I record target placement, I am much better from the start. Kinda like a new QB taking a couple of snaps from center or a relief pitcher getting the feel of the mound.
Guys, how dead would a dude be if he was unlucky enough to encroach upon Sgt-Millers comfort zone?

Had to laugh when I saw your sigma target, it looks almost like mine with my sigma 9mm. I know that my problem is trying to compensate for the 250lb trigger pull and most of my shots go low and left, just about ready to scrap it and get something better. Got so upset even thought about trading it for an hi-point 9mm . great shooting by the way, looks like your ready for the zombies
