Personally I like the 250 and have read reviews on the newer gens that don't have the problems the 1st generation did. My only issue with the 250 is, I'm not big on the feel of it which is why I went to a M&P. Still going to pick up the 250 eventually cause hell under 400 for a Sig just can't be beat.

I bought a SIG P250 when they first hit the market. I was amazed at the engineering feat. The trigger pull was terrible and I sold it as soon as I could. I still like the idea of one "fire control unit" that has the serial number, and that you can configure in different frame sizes and calibers. If they could put a good trigger action on that, I'd get another one. But then, I'm used to 1911's with great triggers, so any DAO in unlikely to suit me, although the PARA USA 'LDA' trigger doesn't bother me at all.

You're missing out on quite a few very nice guns there. The legendary P220 45ACP, the SigPro (2340/2022), the P225/P6, the P228, and even the P230/
P232 (if you like .380). These are all very nice shooters and very reliable. Then if you get into the X5 versions of the 226 you have some real factory competition-ready guns. You can always buy lower-priced weapons, but you usually get what you pay for.

I don't mention the P238 .380 or the P290 9MM, since I haven't tried out either one.

The p250 does take some getting used to -- but don't think that because it's cheap it's no good. It's cheap because it has no bells and whistles. I use mine as my ccw, so I didn't want any extras - fixed sight, no safety, easy takedown and cleaning. Point and shoot straight.

I think I have been misunderstood, I own 2 of these and its a great gun it shares several design cues from some of its higher priced siblings. I just mean its not the top of the Sig line it more to the bottom of there line. Now with that said, Sig doesn't make junk. Its like getting a bottom of the line Lexus, its still a Lexus.

I want to get a nice molded holster for this for my wife to carry but I can't find one. Can someone point me in the right direction?
