Obviously they sell it cheap to move it because it's not a good gun.

My only sig I'm gonna buy will be a p229 or a p226. I just have to save up money to buy one. I can't justify just walking in and dropping 900.00 on a pistol yet. I keep saying to myself if I'm going to buy a 900 dollar gun why not add the xtra 400 and buy a nice 1911.

I would say it probably is a bottom of the line Sig used to compete with the cheaper entry level guns. I just think it was designed to reach a different portion of the market plus its backed by their good name

It was designed for the French Military police with the French government picking up the tab for it's development, which is why they can sell it so cheap because it didn't cost Sig a thing to develop.

So as far as being "bottom of the line", I respectfully disagree.

the 2022 is an awesome gun. Selling it cheap because they want to move it? Bottom of the line? Try one out and then pass out opiniions.

I hear Sig is going to pump up the marketing on this gun. They realized just what a cost effective gem they stumbled onto with the 2022.

A 9mm just pumps out the rounds.

I've had a SigPro 2340 in .40 S&W for years, and I bought a 357SIG barrel for it early on. It's been a great shooter and I've never had ANY problems with it shooting either round. I don't think there's too many changes between the 2022 and the 2340, as they're both available in 9MM, .40 and 357SIG. The 2022 is simply the newer version that replaced the 2340. The thing shoots great, but it's somewhat large for any type of concealed carry use.
