Thinking of HK 45c anyone have one?

I would like a 45acp and the HK 45c looks like a great gun, I want an accurate gun with a good single action trigger.

If you own a 45c or have shot one please chime in.

I've shot one and it's a good gun. I'm not a real HK fan as I think their guns are priced way to high - but that is strictly my opinion. They are extremely well made and well engineered but are they worth twice as much as other poly pistols out there - not to me. The gold standard of a gun in .45 ACP with a great SA trigger is of course a 1911...

The 1911 is not ruled out, I just never felt comfortable with the grip safety, seems my grip can and does miss tripping it, I know that is just training.

If I were to go 1911 right now the Springfield "Range Officer" would be on the short list.

Big HK fan. I own a P2000 a P2000SK and a P7M8. I've shot the 45c and I know a few folks that own them and it's on my list. If I didn't already have so many danged .45's I would own one already. On the HK's I prefer the LEM trigger. It has a very short reset that is extremely consistent from shot to shot and feels pretty darn close to a SA with no external safeties to deal with.
