Default Taurus issues

I have a Stoeger 8040 Cougar (.40 S&W) and am very happy with it. It shoots straight, cycles dependably, and has 11+1 capacity, which I think is more "politically correct" than a 21-round piece. The only time I have had any FTF was when I let it get too dry. When it is properly lubed it cycles 100%. The rotating barrel lockup is great! Reduces muzzle flip and stays on target. It is a little tricky to conceal, because of the long grip. Works okay when I can keep it under a jacket.

Like Quentin posted a while back, I have had experience with two Taurus handguns, the first a Model 85 38sp, and a PT 111 Millenium Pro. Both were flawless in their operation. The 38 was stolen in a home burglary (along with most every other gun I owned except a Nylon 66). The PT 111 I still own and, while I don't know how many rounds I have through it, I have full confidence in its operation.

I have no problems buying another Taurus, and until I get a bad one my opinion won't change.

I've owned a pt111 mil pro for 2 years now and have shot 1000's of rounds thru it with no issues at all. I also own 2 other Taurus handguns with no problems either. I've heard of the problems with Taurus guns but I've never experienced them. It is the same situation I encountered in sales. You never hear from the satisfied customers, but you always hear from the customers who have a problem.

I bought 4 Taurus guns. 2 were good and 2 were bad. I still have one of the good ones but wont buy anymore.

7mm longer than the 17 or 22, 2.5mm wider than those. Heavier, grip like a 2x4 as mentioned before.

My G20 used to be my IDPA gun(I use a 34 now) Took 2nd this year at the Wounded Warrior Gateway Classic SSP SS. I love it. But I have big hands.

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?
