Sorry, apparently i missed what you'd said it was for. i had written a long post about this but decided to delete it and make a much more shortened response. There are no Bodyguard .380 > .22LR conversion kits out on the market nor any other chambering conversion kits for it. Most of the .380 pistols that have readily available conversion kits also come chambered for the rounds that the conversion kits offer. The .380 Bodyguard is clearly not chambered for anything remotely close to .22 LR, nor have they shown any interest in changing that. Now the model you're talking about is just over two years old so it's pretty darn young meaning the future of it is still a complete guess.. You may be in luck later down the line but if you want something soon i'd suggest you look elsewhere.

I probably am going to check out some other options. I would like to surprise her with it but she also saw a gun painted with a zebra pattern on American Guns and she liked it ....... God help me

Haha, i saw that epi.. i hate how fake that show is. Still a fun watch, though!
As for other 'fun guns', you could check out the Walther PP variants (carry .380, .22LR, conversion kits for the two, and several other possible chamberings), H&K 4, or others of the sort that would allow her to try out several different rounds? Maybe if she likes the .380 but you want to get her a sharp lookin' piece with less recoil, you could check out some 9's? Less blow back, more piercing power, easy to come by, and the possibilities are darn near endless!!

We are going to check out some pieces soon. I have a big range trip planned this weekend with some friends. One in particular just picked up an lc9 so I'm kind of anxious to try it out. Thanks for the suggestions!

I also recommend the bersa, it is perfect sized gun for shooting and carry.

You probably saw my comments on the previous thread. The BG 380 is a very good pocket pistol. I carry it practically every day.

DO NOT BUY THE BG 380 AS A PLINKER OR RANGE GUN! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

First choice would be a 22. Second choice would be a 9mm.

My husband and I have been researching quite a bit on some option for my concealed.

We have finally narrowed it down to a Smith & Wesson 9mm M&P Shield. We have looked at a few options such as the Springfield 9mm xdm and a Sig Sauer P229 enhanced elite.

I am happy with what we have decided - trick now is to actually fine a couple of them.

I would love for her to try out a shield in 9mm as well but it's not Massachusetts compliant yet
