Default Springfield TRP

I really want one. Does anyone own one and are they worth the $$$? To me the bear resemblance to the Dan Wesson Valor. Would that be a better buy? Help!!

SS, Tritium Novak sights version for just over $1400. I'm no 1911 expert but, it's alot of money. A SW SS 1911 goes for around $800 I think.

I've shot the TRP and it's a good gun. I would say it's quite a pistol with a couple of features that are not needed (like an ambi safety).

I do not believe it is a $1400 gun though. I believe there are probably half a dozen other guns out there that are just as good for less money.

If you buy it, it's because you WANT the TRP, not because it's the best value in this category.
