Its night and day.. The trigger is redesigned using the SD platform.. 8lbs and very little travel back. Reset is fast as well!! The old Sigma is about 12lbs with a pull that traveled way to far back!

sD9ve= SD9...Self Defense 9?

They were making both lines simultaneously for a couple years, with the SD being the more expesive of the two. The SD9 was their mid-level $400 gun that fell between the $300 Sigma and $500 M&P lines. I guess they're phasing the Sigma out, or replacing it with the more trigger freindly SD line.

I went to the range I think is s&w sd9ve was good I had no problems with it
