I have no idea i only had the ve but i got curious and tried i few glock slides on it they didn't fit

Yea just like a Glock but parts are not interchangeable

I removed the torsion spring on my Sigma 9mm and the trigger's better. Still hard enough for safety's sake but smoother. I like it, 750 rounds so far and functioned 100%. It's a great gun.

For the money you cannot beat the SW9VE. You get two mags with a reliable gun. It feels like a glock but it's a lot cheaper. The trigger pull is heavy but as mentioned you can remove two springs quite easily and cut the pull weight in half. Other than not having a safety it is a great first gun for someone. It's a great gun anyways but for the price and quality I highly recommend it.
