My first outing with my new S&W M&P22 I shot top shelf ammunition
CCI 36 grn MiniMags
Federal 40 grn 710s
The pistol was flawless and surprisingly accurate. Yesterday I went out with a friend who just bought an M&P22 and we shot cheap Wal-Mart bulk ammo
Federal 550 36 grn HPs
We both went through about 400 rounds and again I'm happy to report 100% reliability even with this bulk ammo. Anyone thinking about one of these M&P22s I can tell you they are really good pistols, that I highly recommend.

Great to know. Thanks for the range report

g17, you're very welcome. If you try one of these pistols I think you'll be as impressed as I was. Here's a 20 shot 15 yard group offhand.

The only thing that steers me away from them is that stupid trigger s&w puts in them. Ruins the gun IMO. I really love the look and feel of the M&Ps a lot and they fit like a glove in my hand, almost as well as my glock but the trigger keeps me from buying it.

g17,
Actually the triggers on these are different than the centerfire M&Ps. Since these are hammer and not striker fired the trigger is much crisper and quite an improvement. No more spongy feeling.

Really......hmmmm....my shop had one in stock and of course I couldn't dry fire it being a rimfire....ill have to check em out again. In the market for a semi-auto .22 too. Still don't like the bendy trigger.....

Honestly you'll never notice the bendy trigger. I thought I might hate it when I bought my M&P but it does not feel any different when you're pulling trigger

Dude picked one up today at my shop. Love it. Federal bulk ammo 5 mags no problem. And I did put our shop surpressor on it and shoot it. It was needless to say pretty awesome
