Default small and HARD TO FIND

I've been looking for a RUGER LCP with Crimson Trace laser, or Laser Max laser.

First have found the LCP OUT OF STOCK at many online big stores. I have put my name on list for reminder when they come in. Anybody else seen this in your areas?

Also, any comments on the two laser options...the CT's supposed to be better ON/OFF since it is activated by hand/finger placement. Laser Max, Laser Lite have a little button to push and some say that is an issue under duress.

I know some will say just PRACTICE without a laser...appreciate your comments.

The local gun stores near me both have the LCP with laser. I was seriously considering the LCP as a recent gun purchase and I was finding it difficult to find one without the laser. Did you check at the local gun stores? Maybe they can order one in for you.

All my LGS have both styles. I actually got to shoot one yesterday and it does have a good feel but MAN that trigger pull is LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!

If guys use guns to try to compensate for a lack of something else, small and hard to find won't do much compensating.

I have been looking for a LCP also, however, I am being told that Ruger is not taking orders from dealers at this time and will not take orders until they can catch up with demand. Don't know if this is true or not, but, I assume they had no reason to tell me this if it was not true!

3DSooner: Since my original post, I went back to Gun Gallery/Davidson's and got on local dealer ALLOCATION status. To my amazement, within a week, my gun was shipped to the dealer. I got the LCP with Laser Max for $331, which is by far the best price I saw.
Picked up the gun yesterday and made a quick trip to indoor range today for about half a box shot. As others have said already, it is a LONG trigger pull but otherwise very satisfied with it being on the $$ and nice pattern for my first shots. As we know, these are not guns you want to take to range for lots of shooting. I'm happy...hope you find yours soon!
Shoot safely!

Thanks-
I really want to add the LCP to my LC9 and my LCR .38 Special.
