Small Change To My Inventory
Well.....
My .40 Hi-Point is no longer with me, but I'm not depressed one bit.
In it's place I now have a Star Model B 9x19mm (basically a 1911 clone).
I'm in the process of cleaning it completely up to my standards. Once that is done, I plan on taking it out to the range, and a range report will follow.

That's a good change sarge. I've had the Star BKM 9mm for about twenty eight years and it's a great gun. I still use it as my CCW when I can CC.

What happened to the hi-point? Why did you decide to get rid of it?
Looking forward to the report.

Congrats. I believe the Star is a better quality pistol. It certainly looks better.

There was nothing wrong with the Hi-Point. I just saw this handgun and really wanted it. I didn't want to put down just the cash for it, so I did a trade off.

You certainly traded up, Sarge! They've got a couple of Stars for rent at my club (former Guardia Civil issue) and they are quite nice.
