Still looking for your reason for hating S/A's. That said, and having shot several Ruger semi's, your write-up could get a fella to sell his sister's virginity to a couple of truckers from Pittsburgh, PA to work up the cash for that honey!

RE: Reveiw
Yeah ! "What Gorknoids said"
but I would've liked to see some pics of the gun & targets, plz add them when you can,
I'm glad you did the review as I'm always lookin for a good CC pistol that shoots as good as a 1911 (almost) yet is L-DA, at a better price than either an XD or a Grock new; I wonder how much those will go for used? . . . can't wait to see!

Well, I appreciate the compliments, it is my first review. I am going to sling some lead today at my homemade range. I will post shooting, target, and gun pics.

Hi,
My first post on this site. I've read a few posts and threads and everyone seems decent
That was a good review of the SR9c! I have several Glocks of various calibers and I love the simplicity and ruggedness but I can't shoot them worth a tinkers darn! I bought a SR9 and right out of the box(after cleaning) I took it out with a box of WWB and at 15yds I was getting 2-3" groups with half the shots in a ragged hole! I am no pistolero, this gun made me look good! For fun I want to go out to 25yd and see what she'll do. I was told to practice more with the Glock and that may be true, but I am not rich enough to buy enough ammo to practice with ALL of them...not when I can pick up the Ruger, my CZ's and right off the bat get good groups. I found a fellow locally who will trade his new SR9c for my Glock 19!!
Thanks,
Chuck

I recently purchased a SR9C = been looking at them for a while. Pistol feels great in my hand and has a great sight picture but it jammed on me 3 times during the first 80 rounds I ran through it. Its probably a magazine issue or maybe needs a break-in period but I kinda wish Id spent another $100 for a baby Glock. I am a Ruger man to the bone and own revolvers and rifles made by Ruger but I wont be buying anymore pistols. Just 1 mans opinion.

I bet the problem is minor. I have an sr9 and sr9c and neither have given me any problems after many hundred rounds. I have read of people having to deal with Ruger customer support and they all rave about it...should you need to send it to them. One fellow had his whole barrel replaced on his GP-100 free of charge and they sent along with it a test target to show how it was shooting...this in 3 days time!!

You realize this thread is 1 year old. That said I bought my wife an SR9c and she loves it. After she let me shoot hers, I traded my G19 on one for myself. No malfunctions on either one. The slide lock is not a slide release. I called Ruger about that. The G19 grip is a little too fat for my hands.
