Sig SP 2022

Anyone have this model handgun?

i have the sig sp2022

I like it. easier to carry than my beretta fs92, seems to be more accurate, and lighter. Haven't had any problems with it other than trying to find a good, owb high ride holster for it.

what else would you like to know, keeping in mind that i'm kind of a novice - only have been shooting for a couple of years now, after a 40 year layoff.

I suppose I could have been more specific...

I just picked one up myself at the show this past weekend. I was looking for a 9, (cheap to shoot, no other reason) I had researched a couple other models but after looking at about a dozen different handguns, I decided on the Sp-2022, even though I had done no prior research on it. I owned, back in the 90's, a P-226 and selling it when I moved was on of my greatest mistakes, right up there with my first marriage.

In any case, I shot my 2022 for the first time this past Sunday and there is just nothing about this pistol I don't like.

Points like a finger and was shooting to about 2 inches (@ 10 yards) right out of the box. With either hand, and I'm no genius with my left by any means.

I had always been skeptical about the polymer frames, but I have to say I'm rapidly becoming a fan.

Still though, I refuse to own a Glock. No offense to that set. A good friend was a former DEA agent and that's about all he'll shoot anymore. To each his own, I suppose.
