I don't understand the whole military discount thing. They can only use weapons the Military provides them. LEO is different, they sometimes use their personal weapon both on duty and off. Or they get reimbursed from their departments.

Is it just a courtesy to the GI's?

Good business. In general, shooters like the military, so you're nice to a soldier, who's all sorts of happy and tells his friends! Now you get 6 sales from one.
In theory, at least.

That works with everybody...sounds like bad business to me.

I suppose that's the idea. Either way I appreciate it. Oakley does the same thing.

I think it applies to licensed armed guards too.

I was told that it has to do with the deal that they have with Glock to get special dealer pricing because they sell gear and other weapons to the general public...

Thats the level 2 glock leo sub-distributor pricing. You have to order, IIRC, either 50 or 100 glocks on one order to get this level of pricing. It's like 350.00-360.00 per pistol. I don't have the bankroll to order that many at 1 time.

There's money to be made at that pricing though, lol...

If you are talking about the buyer and not the dealer that's not true.
