The coast guard now carries the Sig P229, has been for a few years now. It's a very reliable weapon, me being a gunners mate I have seen thousands of rounds go through this pdw and have seen only a couple malfunctions. I love Sig for its reliability, but it is a heavy pistol to carry.

Gt Distributors has Glock 31 for $398 all day long with a military or LE discount. That's exactly what I paid for my Glock 31.

You tell me where you live and ill drive down there right now and buy 3 and I'm not even kidding. Do you get a military/Leo discount or are do you have an inside man? I would assume you would be referring to a Gen4 G17 considering it comes with 3 mags, if this is the case, than you sir have come across a LGS that doesn't care about making a dollar at all. Gen 4 G17's are at least $500 all day long (unless military/Leo discount). My LGS's have the absolute worst prices I have ever seen and they put them on sale occasionally for $500-but its still rare....hell if they sell guns that cheap where you're at, ill buy every new gun I get there.....

Read my first post in this thread, I clearly stated my opinion there.

The post you quoted was only an explanation of where I buy Glocks for $398.

Its LEO and military active, reserve, and retirees. Gts is great, they have the best prices of anyone I've seen.
