I've got two p220s, p239 custom, p229, a mosquito, and a kimber ultra carry crimson. The sigs are awesome. Someone posted about a mosquito. It can be a finicky little gun. But fun to shoot with the right spring and ammo. Have owned a glock. Just doesnt feel like a sig. Once ya shoot your first sig........

Then there's the Kimber. Its my carry gun. Compact and light, but just enough weight to keep the recoil down. And its amazing a three inch barrell can be that accurate. But you gotta use 230 grain ammo.

I just brought home a Sig Pro 2022...while not yet years deep in experience, and unable financially to handle the "finer" Sigs", I am most pleased. Can't get excited about Glocks...my son went straight for a Compact in .40 when he got his Carry Permit ...can't remember the G-number...have shot it quite a bit. After first visit to Range with the 2022, I'm very pleased. I replaced a Kahr CW9, which I never enjoyed shooting. I've happy with the DA/SA/Decocker functions after a little uncertainty at first. At this point, I prefer it to DAO's...but the 2022 can be converted to DAO if desired. I agree with many I've read who call it the best deal for the money. Mine's a 9, but am considering also getting a .40/ 357Sig combo, too. They're selling at reduced prices around here.

Yes they do look pretty I would save for a kimber and let others shoot the sig 1911 first to se their reactions which I'm sure will be positive.

I own an sp2022 and love it.
The 40 caliber generally has it all. The speed and stopping power. I use hornady zombie ammo and xtream defense.
The gun will eat any ammo i use the Winchester and they were great.
If you are looking for a 1911 will suggest a Springfield 45
I'm in California and we don't get to do what other states can.
Oh well !!!!

I would go Sig any day after all the p220 was originally a Browning D/A. I believe other than a custom one cannot do any better.

Sig/Sauer made the Browning BDA for Browning. That was before Sig/Sauer had a presence in the U.S.
