Hey! Just wanted to thanks you both for your service to our country! Seriously! I never served and wish I did.

Anyway, I just got into guns...newbie...but have been renting a bunch of guns at the range and fell in love with a P226.... I thought getting the Navy version would be great but I can't find it in Tampa.

I currently have a Glock 27 subcompact for Ccw but not sure I'll keep it. Might sell it so,a different subcompact...but I need a fun range gun and home gun.

Thanks!

Can't go wrong with SIG and the 226 is a great range and home pistol. I would not personally pay extra for the MK25 but I'm an Army Vets don't need Squid Insignia to be happy.

I did see a "diamond plate" 226 online at Buds Guns and would pay extra for that beauty. I'm now looking to see if I can get a replacement slide for mine with this pattern.

Good Luck

Tack

P226 Navy, never malfunctioned on me but I wanted the sights higher, added a adjustable rear sight...perfect.

That's a nice looking MK25. looks exactly like my 226 sans the Navy Insignia. So owning one of these, can you tell me if there is ANY differences between your MK25 and the 226 other that the cute little anchor on the slide?
Thanks

I talked to a former SEAL that's a firearms instructor at a IDPA match years ago and he claims that they use plain old stock 226 with a rail
