I have one of the older sig p226 9mm and at 35 feet I have made a 1.5" group dead center.

OP: I had some accuracy problems w XDM and techs said to go up to 124 or higher until you find the load. Your looking for groups, you can always move the sights. Sig has a great custom shop- they have great sights on X5s

My Sig P226 lands hits a bit different for me than most of my other guns. I often start out a little rough with it at the range. I want to say I land about two inches toward 7:00 of my anticipated POA. But once I warm up a bit things tighten up and it's quite apparent that I lack the skill to demostrate its potential.

Mine's a 357sig, but I do prefer (and shooter tighter with) 124gr in every one my 9mms.

People often ask me, "How many ARs do you have?". Well, that seems to be in a constant state of flux. An honest and concise answer might be something like "six and five-eighths". And to the AR enthusiasts among us, that will make perfect sense.

Sound like your jerking you trigger causing your shots to go everywhere. Plus finger placement is a big factor. I have owned and shot Sig's for over 25 yrs and have never had a problem with them. Expect for magazine issues.

I carried a XD45 for a while then switched back to my Sig P226/229 and had problems until I re-learned the trigger pull on my Sig.
