Default Sig P-250 Compact

I recently purchased a P-250 2-tone in 40 S&W brand new, I have had it out to the range twice now and have not been able to get a full magazine thru it without a FTF or FTE issue. I own 3 other Sigs, 2 P-226s and 1 P-220 and have never had any issues with any of them,I have used all brands of ammo and they seem to shoot anything.
Is this P-250 just a piece of crap or did I get a lemon?
Appreciate any comments from anyone that has this gun!

I am not really much of a Sig Guy, however the things I have heard about the P 250 have not been nearly as positive about the P 226. However when in doubt buy a HIGH quality magazine and see if that helps....

Doesn't It come with two SIG high quality mags?

If it does, do both suffer from the same issues?

If they do its the gun.

At least yours fires...I got a 9mm P250 in February. Great gun, put about 200 rounds thru it. So, one day i take it out and try to dry fire it and nothing happens. Turns out the trigger isnt engaging the hammer, and the hammer doesnt pull back. It has been at SIG for over 6 weeks, and they havent even called. As for your problem I have heard of about 20 different cases involving that issue. Theres no solution that I know of. Something else I have noticed....the only new guns SIG has come out with since moving to Exeter, New Hampshire have been the P238 and the P250(those are the only ones I know of) The P238 had a recall, and the P250 has all of these problems. Sounds to me like theres a problem at the plant or something.

I've got about 600 rounds though my full size p250 and about 200 through my sub-compact, I have had zero issues, No FTF's or FTE's. since I bought it in Jan, Mine is a 9mm, So I cant say for sure if the .40 has different issues or not.
Sorry I'm not of much help.
Good luck

Glad you made it over.
I finally had my first FTF, But I think it was a defective primer from a reload I did, It hit the primer but didn't fire, But I went through 175 rounds of reload that outing and only 1 FTF, I guess its not too bad.
