I think that the 2022 is very similar to the 226/229 except for the frame. To me they are almost the same weapons.
2340 is 40 and the 2009 is nine. Both are the original sigpros

This is what they look, the look pretty similar except the grips on the others are screwed on.

The grip on the 2022 feels like the 226/229, just the pistol is lighter due to it being a polymer frame.
I'm not interested in the 250, just wondering if it felt similar because I have shot the 250. I wouldn't be able to get used to that trigger. I have also held the 226, which felt very good in my hands, much like my Mosquito.

I think the p226 would feel different than the 250 or sp2022. I have never held a 250 but I have shot both the p229 and sp2022 many times. I chose the p229 because of the grip and feel. Also there are many aftermarket grips available for the 229 and not the sp2022. The medium grip that comes with the sp2022 is ok but feels off in my hand. Any sig you buy will serve you well, buy what you can afford and feels best to you and you will be a happy sig owner.

@ okdonk

The Sig P2022 is not "blockier" than a Glock

IMHO

I own both and nothing on the planet is blockier than my Glock

As to feeling weird to hold - the two guns have very different grip angles.

The 2022 designation come from the European contract to buy the guns for police & military use until 2022.

I cannot speak of the CZ never owed or shot one. I do own 2 SP2022s, 1 in 9mm and 1 in .40 cal, I love them both. They are two of the least expensive firearms I have, and are two of my favorites to shoot. I cannot say enough good things about them. Never had a problem that was the gun's fault, with either of them. This is just my experiance and 2 cents worth.
