And Sig night sights?....lol.,.well lets just saying there's a sucker born every minute. Don't tell me that your one of them?
I must be, I prefer tritium sights to standard Sig sights or regular 3 dot sights, I have never shot in the dark at a target with my night sights but I like the option.

I think screw the painted night sights, just paint the whole pistol with it, that would be COOL.

Some local gun shops do have to charge a bit over MSRP to stay in business. I have seen some people charge a little over $200 for a HiPoint and some pay it because they think it is a good deal.

Just for sh!ts and grins, I had a buddy Dura coat one of mine O.D. green.
My thought was "what the hell, it is the least expensive gun I own, and if it doesn't turn out well, I could always just strip everything off and just go with the stainless slide."
It did turn out OK, I think.

Of course, that's why you buy the base gun with standard sights....aka....$349.

This gun to me wasn't worth spending any additional money on other then 10 bucks for some top grade glow in the dark paint, and spending a little time doing a nice neat job dabbing glow paint over the white sights.....it worked.

When I purchased mine it was at a gun show and several venders were selling different variations of this pistol and the one I ended up with was about 20 bucks more than the one with standard Sig sights.

Not everywhere are prices are the same, so a good deal for them might not be a good deal to you.

Just picked it up from my LGS an hour ago. Got a free transfer fee ($25) today as the manager knows me. Had 3 other transfers within 1 month. Nice! This is my first Sig. So pardon me for a being Sig newbie.
My question is.. how to strip field the Sig? I couldn't find on youtube and online. I love strip field my Glocks and i need to know how to on this Sig 2022. All i could find is how to take the slide, barrel and spring rod. Which i already knew weeks ago. Anyone have links how to strip field it? Thank you so much.

My dad has a 2022 and removing the slide, recoil spring and the barrel is all we do with his. Just brush/wipe away any grime and then re-lube and re-assemble. I do the same thing with my p229. I'm not an expert, but I think to go any farther you would need to remove the roll pins and that probably should not be done in the field. There is a DVD armorers guide that goes into detail available. Also on page 14 of the user guide it says further disassembly should only be done by qualified gunsmiths and armorers. So I guess sig thinks that's as far as we need to go.
