You can't go wrong with the 229, think of the 2022 as a polymer framed 229 that you saved $300 bucks on.

Palmetto State Armory had them on sale this morning for $349. Their out of stock now but maybe they'll honor the price.

Just an update. Mine was brand new with night sights. $418 from Lawmen's Supply in Clinton, Md. ( they have a shop in N.J. also, I believe).

Thats a great price! I try to direct everyone in this pistols direction. I know Sig has since produced the 250 but that thing is a step down from the 2022..

That is an option, I can tell you are the kind of guy that will recommend a HiPoint.

No it just seems that a cheap deal is a good deal to you, sometimes quality cost or you can always paint it on it instead.. ...

It is a good deal, especially when some are paying 400 or more for the same gun.

And Sig night sights?....lol.,.well lets just saying there's a sucker born every minute. Don't tell me that your one of them?
